Everything you need to know about what lessons cost and how payment works.

How much do driving lessons cost?+
Standard lessons are £40 per hour inside the M25 and £42.50 per hour outside the M25, with a 2-hour minimum booking. Your first 6 hours are discounted to £35 per hour.
What's the difference between Fast Pass, Fast Track and Fast Forward?+
Fast Pass is a 24-hour course to get you test-ready quickly. Fast Track is a flexible intensive option combining manual and automatic teaching. Fast Forward is our longest intensive course at 36 hours, ideal for complete beginners compressing months of learning into a shorter timeframe.
Why are prices different inside and outside the M25?+
Lessons outside the M25 involve a little more travel for your instructor, so there's a small adjustment on the hourly rate and package prices. The teaching, cars and standards are exactly the same.
Is the Pass Plus course worth it?+
Pass Plus is a 6-hour course covering motorway, night and all-weather driving for newly qualified drivers. It's worth considering for extra confidence beyond test standard, and can lead to insurance discounts with some providers.
Do you still book my practical driving test for me?+
No, not anymore. Since 12 May 2026, DVSA rules mean only the learner can book, change, swap or cancel their own practical test. What we can do is advise you on when you're genuinely ready, help you choose a sensible test centre, and talk you through the booking process.
How many lessons will I need before I'm test-ready?+
This varies, but most learners need around 30–45 hours of professional lessons, often combined with private practice. Your instructor will give a realistic estimate after your first couple of lessons.
